SMK Telkom Malang has officially partnered with Koperasi Multi Pihak Lets Play Game Studio through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Moklet Click 2025 event. This collaboration aims to enhance student competencies, support professional certifications, and prepare graduates to excel in the workforce.
The MoU was signed by Rahmat D. Djatmiko, Principal of SMK Telkom Malang, and Istivano, CEO of Koperasi Multi Pihak Lets Play Game Studio, acknowledged by Mr. Doni Handoko Retrianto, S.E., M.Sos., Ak., from the Cooperative and SME Training Unit of East Java Province. During the event, Istivano gave a brief presentation about the cooperative’s role in supporting hands-on education and industry-specific skills in game development. Rahmat D. Djatmiko emphasized that this collaboration is a strategic step to bridge the gap between education and industry needs.
As part of this agreement, Koperasi Multi Pihak Lets Play Game Studio commits to supporting curriculum alignment with industry demands, providing project-based learning support, and bringing in industry practitioners as guest instructors. Meanwhile, SMK Telkom Malang agrees to collaborate based on the agreed-upon scope of the partnership.
Through this synergy, both parties hope to prepare students to meet professional challenges with 21st-century skills and encourage innovation in education and the game industry.
